Mirror's Edge

Mirror's Edge Review

Purchased this game for my Playstation 3 about a week ago. First off let me say that the game concept is great, I like the whole Parkour idea that was put in the game. The graphic are also amazing as well, I liked the use of colors throughout the levels, although I do wish there was a little more variation in the level design it starts to get repetitive towards the end. On the down side the game is rather short it didn't take me too long to finish it and the combat in the game can be a little frustrating. Overall I would say the game was enjoyable, I was able to purchase this through amazon for about 11 dollars so I can't say I would have been nearly as thrilled with this game had I purchased it for full price.

Mirror's Edge Overview

In a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called Runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed and now you are being hunted. You are a Runner called Faith - and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story. Mirror’s Edge delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith’s world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous. Live or die? Soar or plummet? One thing is certain, in this city, you will learn how to run.

Challenging but lots of fun - Kris489 -
Quite frankly I've never played a game that was like Mirror's Edge before, it's pretty awesome. Once you start playing it you'll be glued to the screen for a while..you need to check out the demo or at least rent it. Can probably buy it at a reasonable price nowadays though. I give it two thumbs up.

THIS GAME IS TRASH HOW COULD YOU GIVE IT 5 STARS? - Danish Boy - LA,CA
There is a reason this game is less then 20! this game is terrible the combat is the worst. buttons should come up the screen and you preform other take downs! pressing Y for a quick take down is trash. even in slomo sucks! the game is beautiful too look at the detail is amazing! I thought ":wow! beautiful game" yeah! it's a designer game. it's great too look at but the game play is a mess so is shooting. OH MY GOD! shooting an foe takes a bunch of bullets and what I don't get is. you get like NO AMMO! LIKE AT ALL! THIS GAME IS NOT FUN WHATSOEVER. I AM GOING TO SELL IT.

Better than Modern Warfare 2 - -
One of the best Xbox 360 games in a very long time. It is a challenging game but great graphics and all around fun!

fun - Leslie1nc -
I was new to gaming (adult) and it was difficult at first to do all the moves, but once learned this game is the most fun game I have played yet.
