I'm a little new-ish to the devil may cry series, my brother got DMC 3 and I thought it was quite hilarious, the gameplay was awesome but i never played it much (pc version, obviously a console port and i'm not too fond of those for performance reasons and controls.) but i rather liked it, and my 360 needed a few more titles so i bought this alongside Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for a few bucks. i gotta say though, its now my absolute favorite game ever! it wasn't as funny as dmc3, bit more of a serious storyline i guess, didn't really understand the intro video where nero is fighting the scarecrows or whatever those bug filled human shaped sacks are called, however.. the fast paced hack and slash action mixed with the intriguing puzzles and graphics just completely took me. i haven't gotten through it just yet, but from how much i've played i can tell you that it is very much worth trying out, especially for the low price i got it for. i even liked it so much as to buy a devil bringer and red queen (Nero's arm and sword) off of xstreet on second life for my avatar :D

I know is not a God of War but is a great game especially when you're loading a mission you don't have to wait for a long time to be loaded and also the hack and slash style of the game is very fluent and the gameplay is very responsive. You will not fight with the controll trust me

A great purchase. Completely worth the money. The story is fun and entertaining, and has enough action to satisfy a fan of the series, and those new to the series. This game is more reasonably difficult as opposed to some of the other games, so it is a good game to start with if your new to the series. I loved it so much I went out and bought the other games in the series even though they are games of an older generation system (PS2). It has a lot of variety when it comes to fighting styles and weapons, which is one of the greatest features of the game, including more than one playable character. Dante and Nero make an odd pair but it is entertaining to watch.

I purchased this game bcuz my friend was playing it on his Xbox and i liked it alot. It is centered on the theme of saving the world from a holistic yet evil priest. I won't lie to y'all - some levels are extremely hard, but eventually u understand how to win them. The game came packaged brand new as if I had bought it from a retail! I would order from this seller again.
